·                  Employment

·                  Volunteering

·                  Culture

·                  Skills programmes

·                  Education

·                  Sport

Podium has a nationwide remit to engage colleges and universities across the UK with all aspects of the London 2012 Games. For any further information on the work of podium please visit www.podium.ac.uk

The Olympics is going to leave a huge legacy for London and you, already opportunities are developing for after the Olympics.

CREATE Jobs provides work-related opportunities for young people from the Olympic Host Boroughs (Greenwich, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Hackney and Barking & Dagenham). The aim is to lower the glass ceiling for those talented, driven and creative young people, aged 18 to 24 years, who wish to develop a career within the creative industries but have traditionally faced barriers to progressing within the creative industries.   The programme uses London 2012 as a springboard and helps young people navigate the complexity of the creative industries and to make positive and informed choices about career progression.  Over the next 3 years Create Jobs will offer a range of opportunities from intensive apprenticeships to short-term work experience. There will be 1,000 young people supported through the programme and the programme will be enhanced with opportunities for accreditation and links through to further and higher education.

The programme is delivered by A New Direction and CREATE London.   A New Direction is an organisation that works with and for young Londoners, providing powerful ways for them to access.

This event starts at 3.30 prompt.

Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Don't forget! The fair starts at 12pm, arrive early to talk to the employers on the stands.
